Counselling

•  While at school, students access the School Counsellor by filling out an appointment slip at the Office, or by asking a Year Co-ordinator to make an appointment . All interviews are strictly by appointment. Students must follow the correct procedures for notifying class teachers when they are absent at an appointment.

•  However, sometimes young people will find themselves in situations where they need to talk to someone straight away about an issue or problem that they're worried about. This need sometimes arises while they are away from home or school.

•  If you have a medical crisis, call 000 for an ambulance or go to the emergency department at your nearest hospital. You can also call 000 for the Police and Fire Services.

•  If you need to talk to someone urgently, call one of the 24 hour counselling services as listed.
