World Youth Day - Panama 22-27th January 2019 
Monday Oct 30th 2017 Parent Information Evening 6.00pm in "St Anne's" Room (DC5), Declan Wing at Brigidine College.
Information for parents from Mrs Ross regarding World Youth Day (WYD) in  Panama 2019.  (Years 9,10 and 11).
Mrs Ross will also be giving the same WYD information at:
  • St Clare's College, Waverley - Tues Oct 31st  at 7.15pm.
  • Champagnat Catholic College, Pagewood - Tues Nov 7th at 6.00pm.

A representative from SCS will also give a WYD Information Presentation:

Marcellin College Randwick -  Wed Nov 15th 2017 at 6.00pm - 7.00pm



Brigidine Parents are most welcome to attend those sessions too.

Girls in Year 4 in State schools and the College's Feeder Catholic Schools are invited to a day of workshops to enjoy school life at Brigidine. Included in the day will be options for cross curricular classes, interactive technologies and gifted & talented workshops in the areas of storytelling, design, science, art, food, drama and sport.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Girls should wear their Primary School Sports uniform.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

The day is only open to girls in Year 4 at State primary schools or our Feeder Catholic Schools, parents are not required to attend.


My daughter attends a Non-Feeder Catholic Primary School, can I still attend?

Only if you are a sibling of a student who already attends the College or you regularly attend Mass in one of our feeder parishes and can supply a priest's reference.


Who are your Catholic Feeder Schools/Parishes?

My daughter attends a State Primary school is she able to attend?

Yes. All girls from any State primary school in Year 4 are most welcome to come and see our College.


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

On street parking or in the car park next to the Ritz Cinema. The College does not provide parking. Students should enter the College on foot via the Aeolia street entrance.


What should I bring to the day and what should I wear?

All girls should be in their primary sports uniform and will be provided with recess and lunch on the day. If your daughter does have specific dietary requirements parents will be required to provide their own recess and lunch for their daughter.


Can I just turn up on the day?

No. The College has duty of care requirements and we are unable to go beyond our ticketing allocation. The College holds an Open Day each year in early March that all parents and students of any age are welcome to attend.


What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to sign in and get settled - 8:30am.


What time should I pick up my daughter?

Please ensure you arrive by 2:15pm to pick up your daughter.

Can my daughter who is in Year 5 or 6 attend?

No. Enrolments for 2018 & 2019 are now closed. Please contact the College if you wish to be placed on the waiting list.


When can I as a parent see the College?

The College holds an Open Day each year in early Term 1. In 2018, our Open Day will be held on Wednesday 28th February from 2:30pm - 6:00pm. Please check our website in Early Term 1 for more details regarding the Open Day.
